ISO 14001

The proposed intervention plan is divided into two distinct phases:

1. initial environmental analysis (AAI), including context and stakeholder analysis;
2. development of the Environmental Management System (EMS).

The first phase of the process for the adoption of an EMS is implemented through the creation of the Initial Environmental Analysis document, an exhaustive analysis of environmental problems, effects, environmental “performance” as well as an in-depth analysis of the legislative obligations relating to activities carried out in the production sites. The objective of the AAI is to be able to provide an exhaustive representation of the Organization through a snapshot of reality, both as regards the structure, the activities, the territory and the significant Environmental Aspects of its activities.

To fully carry out this activity it is necessary to fully describe the company processes considering the incoming and outgoing flows, evaluating any consequences on the environment.

To do this, it will be necessary to incorporate all the information that the company already possesses, such as documentation relating to legal obligations, analyzes performed, etc.

The initial environmental analysis will therefore have identified all the significant aspects of the activities carried out in your establishment and will have identified all the legislative requirements to be respected.

Based on these elements and the management procedures already used by your organization, it will be possible to carry out the construction of an environmental management system in compliance with the ISO 14001 standard.

To carry out this activity it will be necessary to have one or more contacts at your plant, to whom you can report to obtain all the information, who in turn will have to identify the human resources available within the company for the implementation of the project.

The activities necessary for the implementation of an Environmental Management System can be divided into the following points:

• Identification of the requirements to be met,
• Environmental analysis
• Development of the Environmental Management System (EMS)
